Chat determined that Nicolas Cage has fingers behind his ear and that he doesn’t actually have a double-ear. Rinoa confirmed that the Skyrim mug is one of the ones that shows the image when it is full of hot liquid.

The cancellation form actually said “foam!” He corrected it. Also said “Fool” instead of customer and “Fone” instead of phone, etc.

“Didn’t order” (Shane didn’t notice that to correct it!).

 

Wonderful 25% returned to us!

We called back, asked for Shane, but got different person.

The scammer spoke some Hindi with people in background. A MelonBuddy Translator said that he was yelling about how he messed up the call.

Simon’s phone was breaking up really badly and sounded like a factory.

Jessica was calling from Dayton, Ohio.

Awesun was used.

 

There are two pending orders for i-phones. The account was last accessed out of Detroit, Michigan.

He booped. We called back and Alan answered.

 

Jessica said she had just talked to Seymour Wiener, Badge AZ7913. Alan said he is Seymour’s senior, but wouldn’t transfer the call, said he’ll handle it himself.

 

We connected to www.aweray.com, which displayed Awesun (Weird, because Google says about aweray: “Awery Aviation Software https://awery.aero / Awery ó aviation software development company for commercial and cargo airlines, private operators, freight forwarders, aviation service providers, …”) ~ Resulting website is partly in German.

 

Jessica told Alan that Seymour kept trying to call her back, and that Alan should tell him that Alan has taken over. Alan said Seymour is on vacation and still wouldn’t transfer the call. Then Alan said it might be Seymour’s personal cell phone and that Jessica must not answer – but Rinoa said to us in chat that she gave Alan his (Alan’s) own phone number, when Alan wanted to know Seymour’s phone number!

 

Alan said he was talking to his supervisor, Daniel, and that Jessica must tell Daniel that Seymour keeps calling.

 

We were transferred to Daniel.

 

Daniel told Jessica not to answer Seymour’s calls. Jessica just wanted to let Seymour know that someone else is helping, so he doesn’t need to keep calling, etc. Daniel asked her to sign into her Amazon account, then said it’s been compromised.

 

Nintendo card(s) were purchased as well as an i-phone. The card was “the monkey one.”

 

Alan was getting really triggered by Jessica touching the computer!

 

Alan found Anydesk and was clicking on various settings. Alan was the “floor manager.”  Jessica kept demanding to know what he was doing, why he was just opening and closing apps, and Daniel kept telling her to be quiet and let him work! She accused him of “diddly-dallying.”

 

He rebooted her computer and then she asked why he was shopping for little babies. Chode mode activated!

 

Daniel said Seymour was a scammer when Jessica asked to be transferred to him. Jessica even offered to give Daniel Seymour’s full name, badge #, etc., Daniel didn’t seem interested.

 

Daniel: “Nobody here is named Semen.”

 

We booped because he just silently did nothing for long periods of time.

We called back using Margaret’s voice and someone else answered.

Margaret logged into her bank.

The call was transferred to billing manager, Steve Walker, to refund the money.

 

Steve: “What is your YouTube channel name?”

 

He booped. We don’t know why!

He may have found the virtual machine. N-ABLE shows scammers system info about their victim’s computers.

Jessica: “Is there a refrigerator something running in the background? It’s just loud.”

Mark: “No, I’m in my office. How could I have a refrigerator on my back?”

 

After a long silence, we were transferred to Robert Naysmith from the accounts department to initiate the transfer. He was handling the refund. He was unsubbing her from Geek Squad. Went to the Bank of America website.

 

Jessica couldn’t tell if Robert’s accent was southern, Canadian, or Midwestern. Robert was in Houston, Texas but from Australia. Jessica quizzed him about Australia.

 

Jessica: “In Australia, do you wrestle any gators?”

 

Robert is from Melbourne. He said he would call back in about 10 minutes but never did.

It seemed like another call cut in or the scammer took another call. The call got surreal for a while, touch tones and background call, not sure what’s going on. The scammer returned. Hindi was spoken in background.

 

Jessica casually called him Rahul, but he didn’t seem to notice. He booped by accident, then called us back just to put us on hold.

 

We were transferred to the senior supervisor, David, who was actually just told to “come over and talk.” David doesn’t seem to like that the form said “dank” instead of bank, etc. He booped (by accident?) and then called back.

 

The scammers used the Wayback Machine to access an old Chase demo to fake a transfer between the “dank” accounts. Jessica “made a mistake” on the transfer amount.

 

Jessica refused to accept his claim that she made the mistake that caused this transfer to be wrong. We were transferred to John and then back to David.

 

John got angry with Jessica and Jessica got angry with all of them. He admitted that his name was Rahul and said something about a fake bank account.
