The scammer had difficulty getting connected to Laura’s computer because the host machine was running too slow to work. Rinoa was trying to get a file transferred to make the bank work but it was taking too long. We booped to work on the host machine and bank account.

He called back several times. We finally answered once the computer seemed to be working again. He connected the computers and then said his manager would call right away.

We were transferred to Steve, the manager.  Laura filled out the form on the banking server.

He said that the wrong amount was transferred to her computer because it isn’t compatible with the banking server.

For some reason, the scammer opened up screensharing and opened a browser tab on his computer for her to log into her bank. She didn’t do that. With that connection, Rinoa tried to open his webcam but it didn’t work.

A translator in chat said that the scammer talked about not wishing his father a happy birthday. Laura commented about not wishing fathers a happy birthday. He got mad about his and transferred the call.

He put her account on hold and said that she needed to go to her bank. She asked to speak with someone less confused than he is. They eventually walked away from the phone. We booped.
