LR told Eddie to check on James because he seems to be going through a rough time.

LR: “He needs a hug.”

 

Eddie said that he owns 30% of the company (as in 30% of Norton).

 

Eddie: “The person who keeps the words in their stomach, those are the bad people.”

 

Eddie: “God bless me.”

 

Eddie has deep-seeded daddy issues and has apparently never made his father proud.

 

LR prompted Eddie to calm down because he was talking so fast, he was about to pass out.

Eddie said that it was probably LR’s sticky space key that caused her 0 key to cause the trouble.

 

Eddie: “Please don’t but me.”

 

She didn’t want his dad to put him in timeout.

 

Eddie: “Hold on, My Flora. Let me speak. Don’t make me angry, Flora!”

 

Eddie: “You have a good head in your stuff.”

 

Eddie told her to go to the bank and withdraw $29,500 cash. She needs to give the cash to Alex, who is a programmer in Washington, DC. But she’s in CA, which confuses her because she can’t go to DC.

 

Eddie: “Why you will contact Alex? Forget Alex!”

 

Eddie: “If you assume like that, I will break my phone up.”

 

Eddie: “Tell me one thing… I am telling you shut up.”

 

Eddie: “What do you think? That I am a fool or you think that you are very extra oversmart?”

 

Another call came in. It was John, who was the senior officer. When she said that she had been speaking to Eddie, he said his name is Eddie John. (We don’t know exactly why this call came in. He seemed to be from the same call center, but then he also proceeded to try to steal the scam from Eddie Brown.)

 

Eddie Johnson said that there have been complaints about Eddie Brown. LR juggled calls and tried to figure out who she should be talking to since they were both saying not to talk to the other scammer. Both scammers were from the same call center, we think.

 

We hung up with both Eddies and called James Anderson. He booped us while we tried to merge the calls.

 

We called Eddie Brown back and told him what was happening. We booped both scammers. They called back repeatedly but we didn’t answer. After a break, we called James Anderson back again. We booped him to answer Eddie Johnson’s call because he texted that it was urgent. Eddie Johnson is John Harold now, and he said that Eddie Brown is trying to scam LR.

 

LR withdrew $29,500 cash and had it in her car. John asked for a photo of the cash, but she never sent one. John told LR to conference Eddie Brown’s call in to their call.

 

Eddie Brown said not to talk to John. John was still talking to LR. Chat couldn’t hear John’s side of the conversation but Rinoa could.

 

In frustration, Eddie Brown went on a tirade in Hindi at John for a few minutes. It was glorious to listen to. We almost lost Rinoa as she tried to hold in her laughter. Rinoa said that John was also spewing Hindi at Eddie Brown.

 

John: “What kind of person you are, ma’am? Are you a crazy? Are you a fool? What are you?”

 

 

John told LR that Eddie was trying to scam her!! He is so thoughtful to warn her emphatically. He told her to go into the bank and ask the banker to confirm if money had been credited to her account or not. She did and the banker said the money wasn’t there! This proves that Eddie is a scammer. When she told John that Eddie was calling, he said to go ahead and talk to him, then she would be crying when he scammed her. (“You will be get cry.”) We booped to go into the bank and talk to the banker again.

 

LR spoke with Eddie again. He started calling her “mother” for some reason. She told him that John was right and that there was no extra money in her account. She asked Eddie to explain this, since it seemed like he might be a scammer based on what John said.

 

Eddie said that he was hiding her money so that she wouldn’t be charged tax. She said that it was her money that she had withdrawn, that she didn’t want to get scammed, and that he needed to call Alex Jones and explain this all to him. Eddie said that he told Alex to make a fake server that looks like the bank service, but which is only valid for 5-6 hours to be safe from the taxes.

 

She told Eddie that John said that Eddie is a scammer, and so far, John was right. Eddie told her to go home. He told her that the withdrawn cash is the company’s money, and he’ll show her that on her computer. She refused to go home because she wanted to see the money in the bank account right then or she couldn’t do anything. He said that he believed she was honest, but she didn’t know anything about technology. He asked if John was such a good person, then why did he ask her to withdraw the cash? She said she didn’t care. She asked the bank if the company’s money is there. It wasn’t. Therefore, Eddie must have been scamming her. She told Eddie that she was trying to get in touch with John again. John had said that the money wasn’t in the account and that he was correct.

 

Eddie asked her for just two minutes of her time to tell her something, and if his answer doesn’t satisfy her, he would give his own money to pay it off. He said that John was trying to put the money on his pocket.

 

While Eddie was trying to explain everything to LR, Rinoa made it so that the scammers could hear and talk to each other again. We could only hear Eddie’s side of the conversation in Hindi, but Rinoa could hear them both. They started out slinging insults at each other. According to the outstanding translators in chat, it sounded like the two scammers were eventually trying to make a deal so that they could both benefit from scamming LR.

 

When they were through with their conversation, Eddie started talking to LR again. He made up a fake conversation that explained what they had said while she listened. But it was all lies.

 

Eddie Brown asked for John’s phone number but LR wouldn’t give it to him. We booped. We tried to call John but it didn’t go through properly. We finally reached John. LR described her conversation with Eddie. She told John that he was right and that Eddie was a scammer. LR assumed that he would investigate Eddie’s crimes. John said that he is from the Bank of America but also works with Chase and the other major banks when they find suspicious activity. John wanted LR’s address but she was worried that she would get in trouble and didn’t want to tell him such personal information.

 

John said he would have the manager of the World Bank call us.

 

We answered Eddie’s call. He kept asking for John’s phone number, even though LR told him that John didn’t want to talk to him.

 

Eddie: “I have a reputation worth more than a million dollars.”

 

We booped Eddie and answered John’s call. He told us to stay on hold for 10 minutes while he gets her on the phone with the World Bank manager. We booped and texted him, telling him to call when the World Bank was ready to talk to her. She put the cash back into her bank account as John instructed.

 

We answered Eddie’s call. He said that he was going to freeze her bank account and send the cops to her. Eddie was very concerned about his reputation. He was very insistent that he needed to talk to John but John didn’t want to talk to Eddie. Eddie said that he would kick LR and her kids out of America because his father is very powerful.

 

Eddie: “I will make trouble for your kids.”

 

We booped Eddie so we could talk to John again. John said that the manager of Laura’s bank was in cahoots with Eddie and couldn’t be trusted. John tried to tell LR what to do, but she kept asking questions.

 

Eddie was somehow added to the call with John again. John refused to talk to Eddie. We booped.

 

An associate of Eddie’s called on a different phone number and pretended to be John.

 

Fake John and LR set up the code, “Spank me. I am a naughty goose” for Fake John to say to verify himself. LR needs to say, “Help me with your help.”

 

Fake John told her to make a wire transfer. We booped him to answer Real John’s call.

 

Real John’s reception was terrible at times. Rinoa was able to report a Bank of America account. He told her to withdraw the cash again. We booped to go into the bank again. We answered Fake John’s call.

 

We called Real John and told him that we sent the money to the secure overseas account in Thailand for holding. But that wasn’t Real John’s bank account, and he had told her to take the cash back out of her account. He was not happy. He wanted her to send him the receipt, and she said that she would send it later. He told her to cancel the transfer, but she needed to pick up her kids from school. We booped in his face.

 

We called Fake John. We told him that Real John had called us and we answered, thinking it was Fake John. LR said that she was tired of trying to figure out who the real John was and who the scammer was.

 

LR: “Maybe I’m the scammer here.”

 

We booped in his face.
