CR vs Marcus & “George” (imaginary) & Brent – GeekSquad

Marcus was very concerned about CR’s “laser” account. 

Refund Amount: $299.99; but he saw that it’s really $399.99

Scam Amount: $4,000

Marcus: “Madam… Did you heard what I said?”

His whole team realized she typed the wrong refund amount. It’s not $299, it’s $399…. Because he saw her bank account between those two amounts.

Marcus had a “conversation” with George about the “mistakenly” typo.

Marcus: “I know the policy that, if the money is not back, I will gonna be penalized. I know that.”

Marcus said that CR has a double-brain and he doesn’t like the fact that she talks so much.

She finally understood that she needed to get Personal Target giftcards because Best Buy cards would be business. But will the personal cards be labeled as personal so she got the right ones?

CR was very confused about which giftcards to purchase and the cost of each one. $490 and $419 sound very similar, so she needed clarification. This frustrated him. Marcus refused to tell her how much $490 divided by 4 was…. Because he said she needed to multiply to $1,960.

We got in the blue car to drive to the Target. At the Target, he became very frustrated about the use of the word “reception” versus “connection.” He said to keep the phone in her purse while she was in the store.

We were transferred to Brent, the banking manager.

She did not buy a back scratcher and didn’t have a car cover, so he told her to email the card to him.

CR wasn’t sure about how to get a photo of the cards with her phone, so we got in the blue car to drive home. We were transferred back to Marcus. He told us to go to Kroger on the way home to get more giftcards.

On the way to Kroger’s, he insisted that CR honk her horn. She refused because she thought that was rude with a car in front of her. She refused to honk her horn. He bailed and booped.

CR went through scammers quickly as they had very little patience with her antics. Unfortunately, technical difficulties brought this call to an abrupt end, before Rinoa could truly break another scammer’s brain. She’ll break more brains tomorrow.
