Suspicious Appliances
JW vs Andrew Green & Michael — Amazon
Refund Amount: $1,600.00
Scam Amount: $90,000.00
She received a text/email for $1,600.00 for Amazon purchase of a Sony TV.
The scammer said that the purchase was a case of fraud and hacking. He wanted to remove the hackers and cancel the order. He wanted to connect to her cellphone. JW didn’t have a cell phone. Hackers had her IP address active at 4:15 am from 3 websites: pornhub, bet online, etc. No, she had not made these purchases.
Amazon would fax the info to her bank. The bank would call on the scammer number, not the actual bank numbers, just on the secured line.
Michael from the bank called. He wanted to cancel the pre-authorized transactions although no charges had gone through. JW had to prove to the FTC that her account was legal, by getting a cashier’s check of $90,000.00. JW was concerned about her wifi appliances, washer, & refrigerator.
“Do you like wasting time?” asked Michael.
JW said she had personal checks. He gave her info to fill out a check to Matthew Perry at FTC. He promptly gave the address to mail at UPS. This may or may not be mule address. Rinoa reported it. He said her money would be returned in two hours. He booped.

Inexperienced Henry from Microsoft
Stream Timestamp [01:16:00]
JC vs Henry Alvis – Microsoft
Scam Amount: $15,000.00
JC received a message popup while checking her emails. Henry said that it was a Microsoft security breach warning. They connected the computers through UltraViewer. He said that he blocked 7 hackers from Mexico. He used the CMD screen as a computer “scan.” Now, he had to work on security for 4-6 hours. First, she had to check her shopping and banking accounts. He left a phone number and was going to call back tomorrow morning.
JC: You’re inexperienced and have training wheels on.
Henry emailed info to her bank and connected her call through their secure line.
JC: Hello, you there goofy goober?
Henry: Yes.
We were transferred to James at the bank. He repeated all the info from Henry. He found a $15,000.00 fraudulent pending transaction, cornhub website. James said we had to save the money and to only answer his phone number. He said to go to the bank, take out $15,000.00, then take it to a special (Bitcoin) ATM. The password set by JC was, “My dogs are barking. Arf, arf!” JC was to call when she arrived at bank. James called back while we were on another call. James said the incorrect password, “I love my dog’s bark.” We booped him.

Saliva and the Spoiler Alert
JC vs Jacob Smith & Sylvia (Saliva) – Geek Squad
Refund Amount: $359.99, then $720
Scam Amount: $7,200.00, $6,480.00, $1000 in gift cards
Email received from fake Geek Squad charged $359.99 for a home security system. The scammer said that it was antivirus auto renewal. We connected to his computer with ScreenConnect. We logged into email, and he sent the cancellation form. We kindly logged into the bank account to check for the refund. No refund. We accidentally booped Jacob. He was still on the computer.
He called back and put up blue screen.
JC: Can we get an ETA?
Jacob: Yes.
JC called Jacob “James,” but he didn’t notice. We assume he had no idea what ETA was.
We received a call from the refund dept from Sylvia. Sylvia corrected JC after being called “Saliva.” JC was #10 in the queue. Sylvia said that the charge was charged twice, so it was a $720 refund now. When we were first in the queue, we filled out the form. An extra zero appeared in the refund amount, bringing it to $7,200. Sylvia stated she didn’t like being called “Spoiled Mouth” after she spoiled the movie Avengers: EndGame.
Sylvia tried to explain a solution not to involve the bank and avoid taxes on the $6,480.00. JC demanded compensation. They agreed upon $200.00. Then, Sylvia wanted money returned by gift cards.
JC: Kroger’s is closest, on Elm Street.
Sylvia and JC disagreed about which cards Kroger’s sells.
JC: Saliva, you’re wrong.
Sylvia said to get 4 Target gift cards of $250 each. They wrote off the remainder of the fake transfer. Sylvia did not like being called “Stinky Breath” either. She made threats about the legal team. JC reeled her back in. We went to the store with Sylvia still upset.
In the store, JC asked for gift cards. Bob was there. Bob explained about scammers and said, “No,” to the gift cards. JC left the store and told Saliva, “No cards, scammer.”
JC: You spoiled mouth! You hot dog! Jig is up chicken butt!
Saliva: Karen, say what you want, Karen.
JC: Snake tongue, scammer!
We booped!
