Sherry vs. Max
Sherry bought Mama a new car for $30,000.
Max dropped his demand to $49,000 to fly under the radar. He was upset most of all about the incarcerated Nick sending him a text calling him a hamster.
Sherry wanted to pay her taxes on her winnings. Max was horrified to hear about that. He gave Sherry another bank account that Rinoa was able to report to the authorities.
It turned out that Sherry can riff on unusual lollipop flavors: mayo, hedgehog, etc. She also asked Max to tell her a story to calm her down so that the bank won’t throw her out for being pantless. Max’s story lacked imagination as it is all about a woman named Sherry giving a man named Max $49k and listening to him a bit more. He particularly wants to emphasize that Sherry is never around from Friday to Sunday and he has no idea why.
Sherry digitally signs the bank transfer but the bank’s system goes down just at the very worst moment. Sherry tells a story about the Loch Ness monster which goes on for five minutes and is gradually more fantastical until the end when a breathless Max asks what the moral of the tale might be. ‘Don’t give the Loch Ness monster three-fiddy’ is the answer.
Sherry’s second story to appease Max is about two brothers who are named Mario and Luigi who debate about eating a mushroom. There is a brief mention of the 13 unnamed children that Max wanted to hear about.
Well, it looks like the bank systems are still down. Did a hamster cause mayhem?
We will have to go back on Thursday (the last day of Rinoa’s week) to find out.
