AnyDesk was used. Interestingly, they briefly had their ID as Scammer Payback, another scambaiter, to test if Rinoa was from that channel. She didn’t bite and they changed it to “support.”

The chat jumped to report the scam cancellation form in an attempt to get it removed.
There were VERY LOUD SCAMMERS IN THE BACKGROUND.
Some members of chat were able to hear phone numbers of other victims clearly shouted out. One member of chat called a victim and warned him that he was being scammed. The victim shut down his computer and disabled AnyDesk. SAVED!!!
This is the power of the scambait community!!
In the meantime, Rinoa as Bob, the banker, didn’t see the phony transaction and told Margaret. James and Mike were annoyed that Margaret had checked with her bank. FOILED! You cannot scam someone who doesn’t believe they have received an overpayment.

Sherry vs Max cont.
Max is 46 years old.
Max sent Sherry back to Target for yet another run to purchase Google Play cards.
Max: “Did you redeem all the money AGAIN?!”
Exasperated and defeated, he passed the phone to his “sister” (likely actually his wife), Jennifer (age 27). She was whispering because her baby was asleep. She tried to get Sherry on her side but talked about “her” mother wanting to meet Sherry when she and Max are married. Surely that would be Max and Jennifer’s mother if they were siblings. She was firm and persuasive and told Sherry how to stay on the right side of Max’s temper.
Jennifer: “Be quiet and listen to what he says to make him happy. Open a new bank account at Bank of America.”
Jennifer didn’t trust the banker at Sherry’s original bank. Sherry was keen to go off and watch Survivor and Texas Walker on TV. Jennifer decided to explain how to send money to her husband (even though Max is supposed to be her brother). Sherry asked if Jennifer’s husband had the money meant for Max, since that would explain why Max hasn’t received the money.
Sherry made goat noises while calling for Max. She said that Jennifer’s husband has the $9,000 worth of Google Play cards she “sent.” It was too much for Jennifer and they called it a day.
