To Sherry: “What you did yesterday with your father was very wrong.”
Sherry is heading for LAX tomorrow with her suitcases full of Poochie cards and dreams. Max was stalling, saying his mother was in hospital but it’s OK as Sherry will sleep in a hotel. Jenny came on the phone to tell him that her/their (!) father had married a “girl”’ and the mother is inconsolable but will be OK in a couple of weeks. So, they will visit Sherry then.
Sherry was keen to go to California, though. She could hear the monsoon rains through the phone line. It seemed to be affecting texts as she couldn’t receive any more bank details.
Nicholas wanted to add Max to his PubG game. (PubG is banned in India and scammers like to have bootleg copies. It makes them feel invincible.)
1pm – flight #420 – gate 69 – somehow still landing at the usual time

Once again Sherry had fucked that money, so he sent her back to the bank.
Bank Manager Julia has lost patience with Max, who is playing games.
