Rinoa was speechless at this.
Max sent Sherry back to the bank and spoke to Nick, asking him to cancel the $50,000 transfer, even though it was a Western Union transfer and nothing to do with the bank.
Max asked Nick how much money remains in Sherry’s account and, hearing that there is close to half a million dollars (actually $425,896), and thinking half a million means $250,000, asked for two lakh dollars to be sent to him.
Rinoa reported the details on yet another money laundering bank account.
Lakh is a word in Hindi meaning 100,000.
Nick said he would break all protocol and remove $200,000 from Sherry’s account. Max asked him to put the $200,000 in his car, the black Honda, and keep $50,000 for himself so he can dance in Vegas.
Nick asked for $100,000. He said that he couldn’t do much because Julia was looking at him. So, he handed the cash to Sherry, who ran away with it.
Max called Sherry and she said that she was sending the money to the other, nice Max by Western Union.
There was no time to be lost. Max instructed Nick to chase her to Western Union and stop it.
Nick’s poultry-themed Vegas dreams began to turn to ash when he could not find Sherry and realized she had gone to a Burger King, of which there are hundreds. He would never be able to find her.
Max fake-cried pathetically to Sherry that she had never loved him. He pretended that he would harm himself. At this point, Rinoa was done with him and she terminated the call.
Jenny called and repeated the empty threat, which is a step too far in a scambait and is not entertainment. Members of chat circulated numbers for people who may have been affected by Max’s empty, baseless lies.
Sherry’s account had been frozen in any case. We have no more need to keep talking to these unpleasant human beings.
