Ep.138 7/20/21 Margaret vs. Jacob/Michael/Victor (continued) removing AnyDesk yet again that ‘Jeff from Amazon’ put on. You know, Jeff scammed Margaret and took $5K from her. A lovely chat all about how terrible some scammers are and that it would be a lifetime of cover if Margaret would only pay $750 which is a bit rich considering they said it was $700 the day before. Margaret refused to pay as she felt that it’s a lot to charge, just to do a bit of defragging and clearing the cache, but Victor felt it was good value to be able to use her printer again… Margaret had not asked to have her printer fixed. Victor reluctantly agreed that she was entitled to her opinion and gave up. Chat suggested a number for Rinoa to call but it turned out it was Victor again and he hung up in less than one second, recognizing her voice. 1Hr. 56Min 30Sec
There’s a holiday in India for some religions so there are not a lot of scammers on line. Approximately 60 calls made and only four pick ups.
