Every day is a Melonday

Is Max still on the hook? What the…

Ep.148 8/9/21 Sherry Hill vs. Max (cont.) Eating a burger with no shame once again, Sherry had to bail until the chewing sounds had abated. Max tells Sherry he’s now working for Tech Live Connect – a scam company of course.

Sherry has ‘Swift’ from another scam call center who is stepping in to talk to Max. It’s easy to play one scammer off against another. In Max’s earshot, Sherry tells Swift that she suspects Max does not love her as he is mean and calls her dumb. She shouts ‘Tell me you love me, Max! Oh well, I will give the cards to Swift instead’. Cuts off both calls. Max calls back impersonating Swift, ‘just give me the card numbers’. Sherry tells Max she has now given ALL the card numbers to Swift, which upsets him.

Phone call from an entirely new number, but it’s Max badly disguising his voice and pretending to be the IRS (Officer Charles Rebate, sadly Max has run out of fake names), answers as Nortons. Sherry tells Officer Rebate she got the cards, but is so scared of being ‘In the Bars’ that she decides to come clean to a police officer in Target parking lot. She tells Officer Charles Rebate that she is handing the cards to Officer Watson in the parking lot but Officer Rebate says that this means the police are despatched to her home address (without ever having asked for it) within 15 minutes. Sherry explains she will now have to live the life of a fugitive by going ‘off grid’ 56Hrs 23Min 18Sec

There was also a call to Mister Beck-Ham who has a lot of trouble understanding addresses and has to repeat certain details a number of times, the email address, for example is ‘ILikeToEatMyOwnUnderpants’
