Ryan told JW a bunch of information about her computer, such as how long she’s been using it, model, IP address, that it’s a laptop and not a desktop like she had told him, etc. Rinoa told chat that he was snooping through the computer a lot and that he might be sus.

 

Ryan told her that he could see that the money was deducted from her bank and that, if she logged into the bank, the manager will send a refund there. He seemed to be installing security or something and said that it will take an hour or two due to the large file size. He booped, saying that the manager will call us back.

 

Rinoa thought he might have seen something on the computer, but she couldn’t find what he was looking at on the computer. He was not calling back.

 

 

Incoming call from David Parker. He was calling regarding feedback from yesterday’s phone call with one of his colleagues and to let her know that there was an “update on your computer.”  He told her to go to a URL he provided. Call waiting beeped, so she booped David and answered the other call.

 

 

Incoming call from Dave Jordan, billing manager from McAfee technical support.  He said that they had already “initiated the deposit” into her bank. He told her to sign in and check it, see if the notification was in her alert center or not. No alert there, so a manual transfer would need to be done. She called him Davy Jones. He indignantly said that it was “Dave Jordan.” Davy Jones was the locker!

 

JW and Davy Jones started chatting. They spoke about Johnny Depp. They switched to talking about movies in general, especially “Rat Man and Cockroach Girl.”

 

Dave put his “company account” (Bank of America) on the screen, then the blue screen almost immediately went up. He was going to add both of their account details together so that the refund could be initiated. She asked him his favorite movie of all time. He said it was The Revenant.

 

They continued to discuss movies, comic books, etc. at length! Davy Jones knew a lot about American pop culture and movies.

 

He asked if she had purchased BitCoin. She said she had. He said she should invest in BitCoin.

Davy Jones asked if she was fond of horror movies. Yes, she had watched “Scream” and it was a dumpster fire! Davy told her she needed to watch “The Pope’s Egg Sauce” (Pope’s Exorcist). He told her to watch “Smile” (a Korean movie) which got 79% on Rotten Tomatoes. She was not to watch it at home alone. No makeup used. It was all psychological.

 

JW told him that he liked to torture himself with these movies. She asked if he ever thought of being a movie reviewer. He had.  She asked if he had seen:

-Barney’s 1st movie (it’s a Xmas sing along)

-Sesame Street (he had watched a little bit)

-Johnny Bravo…did he know Carl Chryniszzswics was Tom Kenny, who voiced Sponge Bob.

-CatDog

-Billy & Mandy – a show he watched where the kids had a skeleton that was the grim reaper

 

JW asked him if he would rather be stung by 100 bees or be hit in the face by a tennis racket to remove a movie from existence. He chose the bees. But why would he want to kill 100 bees?

 

-John Wick Chapter 4

-Chinese or Japanese movie “IP Man,” a marshal arts movie

-Playstation 5…he liked Resident Evil 8. He didn’t like Final Fantasy — not his genre

-Sega (JW told him “Sega does what Ninten Don’t”)

-Mortal Combat was his favorite game.

-RatMan Manga — he had seen it

-One Piece Manga is 23 years old and has 1085 chapters (he was watching original Japanese version)

-Dragon Ball Z

 

Rinoa’s camera had an error message and is unusable at this point. Rinoa played some Minecraft for chat on the screen while this character continued spewing his wealth of knowledge.

 

JW: “What about the refund??”

Davy Jones: “Waiting for it to go through. Waiting for the internet to go faster. The confirmation is not coming through. We will have to do a wire transfer.”

 

Boop. He called back and said we got disconnected.

 

Davy Jones: “We will initiate a wire wire transfer” from their Bank of America account to her account.

 

JW asked if he liked towers. He had a wealth of knowledge about towers and bees.

 

He told her to type $403.00 on the form.

 

JW: “Wow, $40,300.00! Oh No!”

 

Davy Jones will be losing his job because of this. She didn’t want him to lose his job…the keyboat was stuck. She checked her account and indeed did receive the $40,300.00.

 

Davy Jones: “ I am seriously going to be in Davy Jones’ locker ma’am!” He only had bosses above him there.

 

JW thought she could purchase collectable figurines and resell them to pay him back the money.

 

Davy Jones was feeling like a Manga character, Yamaha. JW told him “Not even Yamaha wants to be Yamaha.”

 

JW: “What can I do to fix this?”

Davy will have a word with Bank of America.

 

JW: “We don’t want to be like Batman plungering the toilet away because it’s backed up!”

 

Davy told us the situation was not very good. JW asked him to give it to her straight. He said that the information from Bank of America was not comforting. JW asked if they didn’t give him a blanket or anything, Davy says blankets are only given to girls.

 

A discussion ensued about who is a hero here and who is a villain. Bank of America is the hero but also the villain. They could red-flag the transaction and freeze her account and theirs. The hero and the villain are the same person. JW thought he was talking gibberish.

 

Also discussed:

-Batman is a vigilante who breaks the law going after people.

-Davy said that they call Batman a criminal in the new Batman movie.

 

JW: “How do I get your money back?” And “Is a cape a blanket?”

Davy said Batman uses the cape to wrap Cat Woman in more often.

We heard a dog bark. Boop!  David called back.

 

The Bank of America would freeze accounts if the $39,897.00 was not returned by the end of bank closing today. We couldn’t follow regular banking methods or the Bank will know she got money from a company account. He was “thinking, madam, thinking.”

 

Davy would go ahead and do something bad. He would use software to manipulate the data to allow a transfer. The bank would not see the transaction…it will be missing. It just means the money is not visible. She would need to use her savings account ending in 6969 to send the $39,897.00 back.

 

JW: “You aren’t a scammer, are you?”

Davy Jones: “If I would be a scammer Madam, I have all your accounts.”

 

JW said she would head to the bank and would give him a call later today. She insisted on it. She would have it all sorted out.

JW: “You will not be in the locker!”
