Mike escalated this scam VERY quickly soon after the “transfer” was made. It didn’t take long for him to disable Jessica’s control of her computer. Jessica asked for control to be returned. Mike locked her computer instead.
He threatened to take all the money from her bank and then did so.
Jessica: “You’re a dirtbag! Dirtbag, Dirtbag, Dirtbag, Dirtbag, Dirtbag, Dirtbag, Dirtbag!”
Jessica: “That is an order. I’m ordering you right now to give me back my money!”
He got mad and booped. We called back and Mike answered. Mike’s voice suddenly changed but claimed that he was still Mike. We were transferred back to the real Mike and then bounced to the questionable Mike again. He said he’d unlock the computer once she got the giftcards.
Jessica: “That’s not how this works.”
Questionable Mike: “Don’t act smart. You are barking to me.”
Questionable Mike unlocked Jessica’s computer and let her check her bank account. Her money had been returned.
Questionable Mike: “Such a crazy lady you are.”
Questionable Mike: “Do it fast.”
Jessica: “Don’t bark orders at me.”
Questionable Mike booped. He called back to ask who we are. He locked the computer again.
Questionable Mike: “I’m not giving you your computer back because you are a stubborn bitch.”
Questionable Mike: “I like bitches.”
Questionable Mike: “I’ll be your dog. You be my bitch.”
Jessica: “If you keep being obedient, maybe I’ll let you play around with the ball.”
Jessica: “You have no balls between your legs, buddy. I’ll give you one.”
Questionable Mike returned Jessica’s money and she agreed to go get the giftcards.
Questionable Mike: “I’m 100% sure you are not driving.”
Jessica: “Well, I’m 100% sure you’re an idiot.”
Questionable Mike said he’d take all her money again. We booped. He called back when we reached the Kroger’s parking lot.
We were transferred to Jerry William. Jessica complained to him about Mike and Questionable Mike.
Jessica: “Get that dog on a leash. OK?!”
Jerry: “Madar chode!”
Jessica: “Watch your language, dog!”
We were transferred back to Questionable Mike. He told Jessica to go into the store, buy the cards, and call him back. We called back and Questionable Mike answered.
Jessica: “You are a turdbag.”
They booped when Jessica didn’t immediately give them the gift cards. We sent them a photo of a high-quality Target giftcard replica, knowing there is no way they would be able to see that it isn’t authentic.
We called back. Mark answered. We asked for Mike Page. We were transferred to Questionable Mike.
Jessica: “You dirty rat. You sewer rat.”
Jessica: “You better get out. You’re about to get raided.”
Questionable Mike booped. We called back. No answer.

We were transferred to Russell Andrew.
Jessica: “Will you be driving to Hawaii anytime soon?”

Andrew: “Yes, I will definitely.”
Andrew said that Jessica sounds like his mother. Jessica said that he sounds like her son but she doesn’t have a son, so he’s like a son.
Jessica: “Do you poop your diaper?”
His nickname became Goafer and he was alone. He started calling Jessica “mother.”
Jessica: “Bar Harbor is behind the bars.”
Jessica: “You googly-eyed goafer, you! Why did you do that?”
Jessica: “Call me by my nickname, Turkey Leg.” But then it became Drumstick. But she insisted on being called Mother Toad, which he was very enthusiastic about. His nickname became Baby Toad, which morphed into Ben Toad very quickly.
Ben Toad was going to give Mother Toad a nice bottle of wine.
We took a small timeout while he was texting someone else.
Ben Toad asked if we had ever used CoinBase. We hadn’t, so he switched to a wire transfer.
We reported a US bank account!!
We agreed to go to the bank to send him the money via wire transfer.
Rinoa was able to get his information including IP and location, etc!!! We reported this information as well!
Ben Toad’s favorite song is “Bad Liar.”
Ben Toad sang The Wheels on the Bus, FIVE verses!!! Then, he sang Old MacDonald Had a Farm, which made Mother Toad cry from the nostalgia. He chose to sing Jingle Bells next.
Ben Toad wants to visit Suzie-land, which is likely typically pronounced “Switzerland.”
We got to the bank but it was closed. We didn’t know why it was closed. Looked deserted with someone sleeping inside. And it was on fire and condemned. And people were inside dancing with money.
He gave us the address to another branch that we could drive to. We drove there.
Mother Toad sent Ben Toad a song that he used to sing with Daddy Toad. She wanted him to sing that song now, Play that Ducking Track, and then Baby, Baby by “that boy Justin.” When we got to the bank, Ben Toad sang the Duck Song for us!!
Ben Toad: “Waddle, waddle. That’s right.”
We went into the bank to wire transfer the money.
We called from another number so that Bob could call him. Adrian answered. Bob knew he was speaking to a woman on the phone. He told Bob to Duck Off and then he booped. We called back. He listened for a moment longer and then booped. He sounded a bit rattled on this second call.
Jessica came back to the car for the account information and talked with Ben Toad for a moment. Mother Toad asked about the several missed calls and texts from Bob’s number. He said to block that number and ignore the texts. One of the texts said something about a police raid.
Jessica went back into the bank to finish the wire transfer.
They called Bob. We answered. He wouldn’t respond. We booped that call.
Still on hold on Mother Toad’s line. Jessica went into the bank but Bob had already called the bank and they wouldn’t transfer the money. The bank already knew everything and had all the account information that Bob had gathered. We drove home while Ben Toad tried to figure everything out.
Rinoa told us that another scambaiter was also in the mix on this call behind the scenes.
We told him that we were getting calls and texts from other numbers telling us that he’s a scammer, he’s in Kolkata, etc. The texts also said that they are planning a raid and that the scammers are going down.
Ben Toad said to ignore all those other numbers and to only talk to him. He booped so that we could eat some lunch.
