Stream Timestamp [00:18:32]
Laura Redfield vs Mike & Steve Davis – Comcast
He took her phone number so the technical team could call her back. She said she wanted to speak to somebody right away and he assured her that they would call “right now.”
Mike booped. Steve called us back.
Laura has had this email address for about 72 weeks or so.
Laura’s weekend was good. She and some friends flew some planes.
Laura said that she clicked on something that said she would get $10,000 but the money hasn’t arrived yet. Steve said that those people had blocked her network and got into her “personal stuffs.”
Steve taught Laura about “Koobface” computer program – a network worm from Russia.
Laura was very concerned because her friend recently dealt with an Alaskan Bull Worm and she wanted to know if this was the same thing.
Steve said that he would transfer us to the technician to remove all trojans and viruses, install an anti-hacking device, increase the firewall security, register the IP address, network protection for a lifetime, secure email and more, email security, and activate computer security. He presented many service options. Laura had difficulty understanding if these plan amounts were deductibles, tips, or something else.
Laura: “They’re gonna take care of the poopface. Right?”
Laura doesn’t trust garden gnomes. “They are always happy, but what are they really doing?”
Laura tried to explain that she pays for Comcast monthly but he kept talking about a one-time payment for some reason.
Steve told Laura to give him some time and he would call her back. He bailed and booped.

Laura Redfield vs Justin Wilson & Jack Brown – PayPal
She received an email that said that she sent BitCoin for the amount of $299.
UltraViewer was used.
Justin said that someone had hacked her account and she is a victim of identity theft.
Laura found out that she is royalty and she is inheriting $42 million.
Justin: “That must be suspicious.”
Laura: “I didn’t find it suspicious. I found it rewarding.”
Justin tried to help Laura to get into her email account because she forgot the password. It was very important to get into that account so that she could continue talking to the person who is helping her with her inheritance.
Laura said she has sent the inheritance guy about $30,000 over the last few months. Justin said that it was a fake email but Laura was convinced that it was a real person, because they answered her emails.
She couldn’t get into her email account but she checked her bank account and the $42 million hasn’t been deposited.
Apparently, Laura came to believe that Justin is the person who is helping with the inheritance.
Laura: “I’ve sent you a lot of money.”
Justin: “You haven’t sent me anything.”
She recently wired him some money so that he would send her the lockbox of money. He doesn’t remember.
We were transferred to Jack Brown.
Attempted Zelle transfer for $9,986 but Laura thought it was going to be “like last time” (which was a different, imaginary scammer) and she sent that recipient $499 “like last time.” She has now given money to get the lockbox key, ship it, bubblewrap it, and more… she expects him to be able to send the box and key now.
Laura sent another $499 “like before” via Zelle.
Laura had a doctor’s appointment to go to. She said she would talk to Jack again tomorrow. He said that, because she made a mistake, it will be 72 hours before things get situated now.
