Xavier doesn’t understand math, but he was able to get the computers connected.

 

We were transferred to Michael. He couldn’t hide the screen from Claire, so he tried to find other ways to keep her from seeing what he was doing. He finally gave up and just started editing the HTML right in front of her.

 

After $20,000 was transferred, Michael said that she needed to go to the bank to make a wire transfer.

 

Claire was very worried about everyone thinking that she did this on purpose or that people would think she wanted to keep the money. He said that she couldn’t tell the bank about what has happened.

 

He tried to open her camera. Then, he asked her for a photo of her ID. She said that she would call her bank instead.

 

He bailed and booped while the stream was down for a moment.

 

Marshall called to find out what happened. He said she needed to do what Michael asked her to do, including sending him a photo of her ID. We were transferred to Sharon. She didn’t understand why Michael was asking for a driver’s license photo either. Sharon said a bad word when she learned about the “accidental” transfer amount.

 

We were transferred back to Michael, who decided that he didn’t need the ID photo afterall.

 

Michael explained that he had transferred the extra $20,000 to her ledger account, so the bank wouldn’t be able to see it. The bank will think that the money had just been transferred from the savings account to the checking account. He said that, once she wired the money to Geek Squad, the money would be released from the ledger and put back into her account.

 

The money was now “parked” so that it didn’t roll away and so that she could make the transfer. Otherwise, the bank and the IRS would have interrogated her.

 

CR: “If we’re talking in car terms here, can you put it in reverse?”

 

Rinoa tried out a new Hindi phrase she had been practicing. He understood what she was trying to say. He called her out as a scambaiter and admitted that he is a scammer.

 

CR: “Do you have a cat? Dog? A goose?”

 

He taught us that www stands for world wide web, which connects people with other people.

 

Michael: “The Messiah is on his way, so be ready to witness it.”

 

Michael: “You humans do not deserve to live on this planet.”

CR: “OK. Should we live on Mars?”

 

Michael: “Elon Musk is working for the Satan.”

 

Michael: “You talk about believing? I practice.”

 

Michael: “Trust me, if I told you my age, you would faint.”

CR: “OK.”

A few minutes later…

Michael: “How old are you?”

CR: “Trust me, if I told you my age, you would faint.”

 

He gave CR an address and told her to meet him there. The address was a police station.

Mike got the computers connected and CR filled out the refund form.

 

We were transferred to Steve Roy when the bank account didn’t have any link to receive the refund.

 

Steve narrated a pretend conversation with someone about the “accidental” transfer. But Steve blamed CR for the mistake.

 

She hinted at keeping the money and he threatened her with suspending her account. She claimed that she paid them $25,000 when she signed up for the Geek Squad, so today’s $25,000 is just the repayment of what she paid. He wanted details of when she paid that. She said she can’t remember and he should check his records. HE said that he had no such transaction record. She said that HE was confused because the $25,000 wasn’t a mistake but that it was the actual refund amount. She said that Steve should call Michael Williams back and confirm that the $25,000 was what she was supposed to get. He disagreed. We booped in his face.

 

He called back but we didn’t answer.
