Termites in a Wooden Leg...
LW vs Oscar (Meyer) – PayPal
RE: charge of $1009 (Oscar said $1900) for an Apple Pro Max laptop
Reference #SNDP343948
She received the email this morning.
Oscar said he would check each and everything. There was someone in Michigan and Dallas, TX who had PayPal accounts under her name, making fraudulent orders. Oscar said he would connect her to the secure PayPal server to track fraud under her name and they would check each and everything.
Oscar asked if she had other instances. LW said someone had used her Chase credit card and purchased a huge shipping crate of yarn for $1,000. She called Chase and they removed that charge.
He had her download www.suppport.me. The call was dropped. Oscar called back from Customer Support. He told her he is 32. LW did not reveal her age. He asked her what she did to her computer. She said she didn’t do anything. He asked her to go back in and write a new 6-digit code. Oscar got on her computer and went into Task Manager and saw her virtual box. Oscar explained that all charges were reversed and everything was OK. The call ended.

CW vs Albert (Wesker) and Mark/Billing Dept. – Norton
Refund Amount $268.14
Scam Amount: $5000
Invoice #360540 for McAfee Antivirus
CW told Albert she wanted to cancel. Albert had her download www.AweSun.com. He was asking her what she sees. Albert didn’t do anything on the computer. Albert said the billing department will call her back.
Mark from the billing dept. called back. He said he will cancel all transaction and send money back to her. Norton Refund. Mark gave her four codes:
Transaction ID: TRANV74WIJF74
Transaction code: BF75JE4WI9
Refund ID: RE5WI7BF91
Refund Code: BR9WWI5JE74
He made her repeat all the Id’s and codes back to him multiple times. The codes are the only proof she has dealt with the company. He told her the refund should be $500 because she had paid previously. She typed the 500 but there was a gap and an extra 0 populated. CW got $5000 to her account instead of $500. He said to be on hold; he will talk to head authority in account dept.
CW received $4,500 of the company’s money. He told CW to get Govt. authorized gift cards of two types: Vanilla Visa Gift Card or American Express Gold gift cards. She was to go to three stores: CVS $2000; Safeway $2000 and Walgreens $500. CW told him she couldn’t go to 3 stores. “No, not with my bad leg!” Mark said he would put a hold on her bank. She said she wasn’t walking around stores on her bad leg! Has he lost his mind? He told her she had to do it today. She said “But I have a termite in my leg and the termites might break if I walk on it.” Mark assured her that Norton would “pay for the hospital.”
CW asked if she could order groceries before they put a hold on her account. It could be on hold for 30 days! She said she would need to order a lot of groceries and don’t they care about her parrot, Polly?
CW’s bank account was zeroed out. CW asks Mark “Did you hit your head? Did you pick your nose too deep digging for treasure?” She told Mark she would get her son to go.
Her son (Bob’s voice) got on the phone with Mark and asked him what is going on. Why was his mother owing someone $5,000? Mark told the son that her account is on hold because she made a mistake and now had $4,500 of Norton’s money. Mark told her son to go to the CVS or Safeway and get the gift cards. The son said “Whatever she purchased, cancel it! You are trying to scam her.” Mark said he was putting the account on hold and they had her money. Bob told Mark he is disgusting and a “nasty, gassy boy!”

MR vs. John White – Facebook Meta Dept.
Refund Amt: $499.99
John told MR that someone had gotten into her FB account and through FB Market Place and had purchased suspicious Amazon and iTunes purchases of $499. They had put a temporary hold on the purchases because they realized it was not her. She wanted them cancelled.
They told her to log out of FB as glitches can happen. She told John that someone was trying to sell her a wooden leg on Marketplace. He said his job was just to remove fraudulent purchases only.
John had her download www.anydesk.com. He told her to enter password. She was busy entering Tickles1234 instead of the password Facebook123 that he gave her. She had confusion getting logged in.
The AnyDesk IP is reported and their IP is banned. They were still on the computer but not able to do anything. We booped.

CW Vs. Cameron Smith & Alex & James – Norton
Refund Amount $499,99
Scam Amount $19,400
CW did not want to keep the subscription. Cameron had her download www.alpemix.com.
He asked her how old her computer was. She told him “about 3 fortnights old.”
Cameron had her complete the Federal Trade Commission Refund form for $499.99. He insisted she type the name of subscription to cancel by name as “Norton.”
Now Cameron had her download www.anydesk.com. He asked her to login to her bank. (It was overhead that they are having problems with AnyDesk.) They told her that the supervisor would call back.
Alex from the Banking Team called back. He had her check her bank account. She had been charged $499.99. CW told Alex that she didn’t know if Cameron didn’t know how to do his job but that she now had a checking charge of $499.99. Alex told her they will refund her an extra $100 for compensation… so, a total of $600.00.
The robotic server would refund the $600 in two parts: 1st part $200 and 2nd part $400.
CW told him she wanted the $600 all at once. He told her no. She then said she wanted the $400 first. Alex told her “Don’t order me to do whatever you want me to do!” He was upset with her. “Mrs. Wilson, it will take a second!” Choding ensues.
He told her to just type 200 on the form. CW said, “It added a bunch of crap!”
Alex said, “Oh my goodness $20,000 has been debited from our account and given to you!”
CW said, “How did you do this? Can you just leave? Quit your job! You idiot!” Alex told her to calm down, that they were having a problem there. Alex then put up on the notepad: $20,000- $600=$19,400.
CW asked him what color his shoes were. He finally said that they were black shoes. She told him to look around his shoes… did he see a pink brain? No, he didn’t see his brain anywhere.
Alex told CW to go to her bank and withdraw $19,000 cash and come home. He mentioned sending cash via UPS. He told her to get her shoes on. She played the SpongeBob “The Loop De Loop Song” of how to tie your shoes for Alex. We were in the car.
James, a supervisor at Norton, got on the phone. He asked for a song, “Young Dumb and Broke.” James sang a part of the song for her…it’s his favorite song. James said he is 30. CW said, “Oh, so you are old, dumb, and broke.” He asked how old CW is. She said 45 and that she was divorced. She told him that we were at the bank now.
Now, he told her to just withdraw $19,000 and keep the $400 as compensation. She asked him “boxers or briefs?” He answered, “Boxers.” He said his shoes are brown. He wears black pants every day. Today, he had a green shirt and black socks.
James asks CW what she will says if the teller asks what she will do with the money. She said she will say it is “for the Norton.” James got upset and there was cussing. He told her, “No, it is for your personal use…you are preparing your house.” She said she already had a house and had no preparing to do. There was more cussing.
Cameron Smith got on the line again. He asked her what color of shoes she was wearing. She asked why he was asking. He said because she asked his supervisor what color shoes he was wearing. CW told him that she was wearing white shoes. Then the call booped.
She wrote on the notepad she would send him a picture of the money. He did not call back.
