All In...
CW vs Mike William & Michael Todd – PayPal
Awesun was used.
He said there were hackers from Nigeria.
We learned about closed and established brains on her computer.
CW didn’t know how to get into her PayPal account.
We were transferred to Michael, senior supervisor on the floor.
It was none of his business who lived with her or who else used her computer.
He started messing with her Amazon account because the hackers had also tried to place an order for Uber giftcards “without even you knowing about it.” He said he was trying to cancel the giftfcards by making a duplicate purchase.
CW saw that he was actually trying to buy a giftcard on Amazon and called him an idiot. She shut down the computer on him.
Michael: “You have done work of idiot.”
She told him that she could tell he didn’t work for PayPal. He bailed and booped.

CW vs Alex Brown & Jerry & Linda – McAfee
Refund Amount $499.99
Scam Amount $49,999
Rinoa noted that this seemed to be a very competent scammer with a sophisticated scam. They have an entire website to walk you through the scam. “Scary good.” It seemed very legit, which makes it a dangerous scam.
Jerry, the billing manager, called us from the refund department. He connected her Chase Bank to their Bank of America account. There was an “accidental” transfer of $49,999. CW claimed to be an honest person.
He said that both he and CW are innocent.
The IRS metaphor included pizzas that had been tainted by bird bombings and need to be rotated and replaced but not to be too crispy. Jerry: “Right.”
We were transferred to Linda at “Chase Bank.” CW told Linda what happened using the pizza analogy. She wanted extra cheese, not pepperoni. The IRS birds kept their telescopes on it and she got way too many pebbles to add to the pizza. She ended up getting 50,000 pebbles instead of the 500 pebbles she was supposed to get. She asked Linda for help with returning the pebbles to Geek Squad.
Chat was confident that “Linda” was actually Jerry using a voicechanger.
CW: “Ma’am! Our assets are frozen! You need to thaw our assets out!”
When Linda said that the bank wouldn’t get frozen, CW was emphatic that she needed to return ALL the money right away… not just some one day and more another day. She admitted to having a gambling problem and a strong need for the money to not be left in her bank account. Linda said that there was a limit on her account as to how much she could send in one day. CW said that she wanted to send the money by carrier pigeon but she wasn’t sure if that app was still active.
Linda moved CW’s money from her checking to her savings account. She told Linda to move the money back. Linda threatened her with being charged with money laundering.
We were transferred back to Jerry. CW was very concerned about the frozen assets. Jerry said that he only wanted $20,000 today and the rest would be transferred tomorrow. He said the money was already hidden from her checking account and that she needed to use the money in her savings account to return the money to him.
CW went to her bank and withdrew $20,000. He told her to go back to her home with the cash. CW decided to make a quick stop on the way. She stopped at the casino and bet $20,000 at the roulette table. She lost it all. She was devastated and apologized profusely to Jerry.
Jerry eventually got really weird, seemed to think she was a scambaiter but still continued to keep up the scam minimally. We got creepier and weirder until he eventually booped.
