He had her log into her bank to confirm the transaction. He said his supervisor would call her back. He went for her camera but it didn’t work. He bailed.

Rinoa forgot to take the phone off of do-not-disturb mode, so he got super sus but continued with the scam anyway.

 

We were transferred to David, the refund manager. David said he will cancel the auto renewal and process the refund. JW inquired what a refund Manager does. He said they give benefit to every customer and process the refund. She didn’t enter the right amount.

 

Also, the mailman was about to drop off mail and the scammers could hear a large barking dog. Rinoa accidentally left the dog barking sound effect playing for longer than she intended. David said it would take 5-7 minutes for the update.

 

JW said she has a German Shepherd. David said there was a problem that she entered the amount, she put and extra “8.” He had her log into her bank. He told her to click on Pay & Transfer. She didn’t see the money in her account.

 

Steve is the Manager of David and he got on the phone. JW told him that he is a professional bank breaker — left and right slamming their hips, right and left. Their assets are frozen! JW heard a dog barking.  He said he has a Shih Tzu named “Brian.” It is actually Brian #2 as the original Brian is dead. He has a daughter that named the second dog “Brian” as well.

 

Her dog was barking at something outside. She told him to “shut uuuuup!”

 

She was not seeing the $5,888 on her phone bank app. She didn’t see it on the computer either. Nothing was added. He said that there was a $5,000 unauthorized refund amount. It is a mistake on his end.

 

His “job is at stake here.”

 

She was to go to the bank and withdraw $5,000 (which turns into $4,400 eventually) cash. She told him that she doidn’t want to meet him at the bank. He told her that a transfer would take 24 hours and that he would lose his job. JW tells him “Don’t push this on David!”

 

He said that he would tell her what ATM to go to in the 94118 zip code. He would cover all fees. She said she had an ATM at her bank and the money will just go into her account and there would be fees.

 

He told her to go to Super Sam Grocery store nearby and use the deposit machine to deposit cash. He told her not to tell Super Sam that she was transferring money to him. She said “You can’t flag my account because of his mistake!”

 

We booped. He called back and said 1) go to bank 2) withdraw money 3) sit in car and call him.

She wasn’t to tell her bank about the $5,000.

 

The amount to refund became $4,400. She said that she would tell the bank that her friend Steve was working at McAfee and needed the money. He said “No, do you want your asset frozen?”  He said to say that she was buying a new car. She said she just bought a new car already and the bank will know because of the bank loan.

 

JW asked Steve about Brian again. He booped.

 

She called Steve back. She was at the bank. She had the $4,400 cash and told the bank it is for a friend’s project.

 

He told her to drive to the Chevron Car Wash and Gas Station. She protested that it was 20 minutes away when there is an ATM right at her bank. Steve was very angry and said, “No, it is not the right kind of ATM. It is not a deposit ghost machine.” She told him to call her back from another number as his 888 number was robotic.

 

She said she would use the ATM at her bank and will pay the fee. He said, “No Ma’am, for God’s sake! Listen to me!”

She kept asking him “what’s the difference?” She said, “Whatda bang bing do bah…goes right back into your account!” He said that her account would be frozen. He was very irate.

 

He told her to go to the ATM deposit machine at the Chevron. He would hang up and wait for her call. She called him from the Chevron parking lot. He told her there was a Bitcoin machine inside. She told him, “No I am not doing that! Alarm bells are ringing! You are going to get robbed and have the rug pulled out from under your butt!” She said she could not do it as it was 100% a scam.

 

Their $4,400 will be lost! She said she cared about him and didn’t want him to get scammed. Crypto currency is dangerous and a scam!

 

JW: “Think about David’s children! No food! Can you live with yourself? We need a better way. David’s job is on the line…do you want to be known as ‘Steve, the guy that makes babies cry?’.” 

 

For the record, she will return the money and David won’t get fired. She will not allow scammers to get it!

 

Steve says, “Are you done talking B**lsh*t?” He will have his attorney call.

 

She said that she had the money. He wanted her to take a picture of the money and send it to him. She was outraged. He said that he would disconnect services on her computer and she would not be able to use it.

 

She sent him a picture of some money but a receipt showed an April 5th date. He first said that he believed her now…until he saw the date. She told him it was an old receipt that she had in the car that got in the picture. Her car is a mess. Don’t pay any attention to the old receipt!

 

He told her to send him a picture of the outside of the Chevron Car Wash & Gas. She sent him a picture of the Bitcoin machine. He said that he knew she is not at the place and she didn’t have the cash as that was not what the Bitcoin machine looked like at that place.

 

He asked her to take a selfie outside the place and send it to him. She is not sending him a selfie so that he can get his rocks off!  She will keep the money. She will get a lawyer. “Sue me, sue me! I will buy a new computer.”

 

He told her she was greedy. He wouldn’t have her emails and he had her Social Security Number. He will cause lots of problems for her. “You have troubled me,” he said.

 

He will ruin her from top to bottom. She said he would need an army to ruin her.

 

Steve cussed at her. He booped.
