C made it difficult to connect the computers. He found an evil eye virus on her computer. He ran a “scan” but had difficulty explaining viruses and hackers. He found that her network was infected. He was confused again. He didn’t seem to know what to do next. 

We were transferred to Alex Robertson, senior supervisor. He told her to go to the grocery store to buy a “security card,” which wouldn’t cost her anything because the money would be refunded. He said he wanted two cards. He started getting creepy and flirty. Ew.

We got in the blue car to go to Walmart. He coached her on secrecy and what she should say to the store clerk. She had difficulty understanding the details of the security cards.

He told her to go into Walmart and buy three Target giftcards for $600 each. She thought he said squeaky toy, rabbit toy, bathtub duck, and a few other things. She went into Walmart and found that they don’t sell Target cards. Chat supplied an extensive list of other cards (both real and made up) that she read off to him as other options to the Target cards. He booped in her face because she wasn’t listening to him.

She called back. He told her that he wanted her to buy Xbox giftcards instead. She said that she would buy an Xbox, no problem. He asked about her YouTube channel. She feigned ignorance. He said that this phone call had cost him $15 and he wanted his money back because she’s a scammer. She didn’t know what he was talking about, so he bailed & booped.

The call continued, not sure who called who. Mike was on the phone this time. They immediately put her on hold. She explained that she was told to get giftcards. He repeated that she needed to get 3 Target giftcards from Walmart, with $500 on each one. Call ended.

Alex told her to go to her bank account to find the link but she kept looking at the form “receipt” and saying that all she saw was that the refund was successful. He tried to give her more instructions but she was stuck on “it’s not in the account.” He connected her to the World Bank Server.

The first attempts at making the transfer resulted in errors, so he said to type 110400. She said that the computer was typing on its own. He told her to login to her account again. CW was outraged that an $11,000 mistake could happen. She thought the manager should have stopped the transaction.

He told her how to return the money. He was trying to demonstrate how she made the mistake on notepad. He told her to type a zero, then he typed a long number after it. They argued about whose was at fault for this transfer mistake. He told her to go to the bank.

We got in the blue car to go to the bank. It sounded like Alex was in the bathroom. He told her to withdraw $10,500 cash. When we got to the bank, the money wasn’t there. He booped when she started to give him a hard time about it.

Alex left a message asking when she was getting the cash. She didn’t respond.
