John accidentally sent 10,000,000 to NS account. He cancelled his error and sent $100, which the “keyboard or server” changed to $10,000.

NS was told to keep her original refund of $350 plus $150 for the hassle. NS demanded additional money for emotional damage, which added another $200 for herself. 

She traveled to the bank by helicopter. The scammer didn’t comprehend that it was a helicopter, not a car. After withdrawing the cash, the scammer told NS to go home. She flew the helicopter back home. Again, the scammer didn’t acknowledge this.

Once home, NS was instructed to pack the money in a box. NS said she packed the $9,000 in a book, wrapped in tin foil, etc. The scammer said it was supposed to be $9,300, but that’s okay. We received an address for New York, which was likely a mule. This info was reported! 

NS drove a car to UPS. While inside UPS, the package was selected for random inspection. The UPS clerk, Bob, told her that this was a scam. We heard someone speaking Hindi in the background. This was translated as, “she is making fools of us.”  John booped!

NS? vs Norton Support

Refund Amount: $239.99

NS wanted to cancel a Norton order she received in an email.  The scammer said that the email was fake and contains malware. He tried to remote connect using AnyDesk, but it wasn’t working. The internet seemed to be running painfully slow. We reported the info to AnyDesk so that they could be banned from the service.

NS booped him to restart in case that would fix the internet issue. The scammer connected to the computer and booped. We didn’t have Internet, so we kicked him off.
